Cindy MArtin

Cindy Martin (Maarten) is the music label manager at AquaFire Recordings, where she oversees artist development, roster strategy, and day-to-day label operations. Though she only stepped into the music industry in early 2025, she has quickly become known for her sharp instincts and no-nonsense approach to building sustainable careers for independent artists.

Prior to music, Cindy spent many years in management roles across tech and live events. What sets Cindy apart is how quickly she’s adapted her corporate toolkit to the fast-moving, relationship-driven world of music. In just a few months at AquaFire, she has already been described as “the manager who actually gets it”, and someone who protects the artists’ vision while making sure the business side doesn’t fall apart.

A lifelong music obsessive who once booked her own DIY shows in college, Cindy is passionate about giving emerging talent the professional infrastructure they deserve without losing their creative edge. When she’s not in the office or on Zoom calls, you’ll find her at small club shows or digging through new releases with her two rescue dogs, Juno and Miles.
