Lyd14

Lyd14 (pronounced as Lydia), is a Finnish songwriter and vocalist whose career spans Finnish eurodance and the international vocal trance scene. She first delved into electronic music as a teenage in the 1990s, making her own music with Amiga 500 and trackers during the formative years of EDM.

With a classical music education from conservatory, Lydia is a trained classical soprano and has also studied piano, flute and violin. Lydia gained recognition in Finland at 2000’s as the original lead vocalist of the EDM group Chorale, noted for their hit song 'Univiidakko.' Lydia spent nearly a decade with Chorale, performing at hundreds of gigs and released gold-selling singles and two albums.

Lydia made a comeback to electronic music in 2020, focusing on trance music. She has since expanded her global network and collaborated with influential producers as both a vocalist and songwriter, contributing to projects for various artists. Known for her ability to craft memorable vocal lines and harmonies, Lydia has established herself as a standout voice in the trance/EDM genre. She also has further experience working as an A&R professional in the EDM industry.

Today, Lydia continues to impress with her music, garnering support from industry heavyweights like ASOT, Andrew Rayel, Aly & Fila, and many others, releasing music on iconic trance labels like FSOE, AVA, Nocturnal Knights, ZYX, Magic Island, One Forty, Regenerate and High Voltage. Lydia's vocals resonates with audiences around the world and strengthens her position as an open-minded trendsetter, creating future steps for trance music.
